TGH Partners with Tampa Theatre for Free Film Screening

Join us at the historic Tampa Theatre as we celebrate the resilience of our head and neck cancer patients with an official screening of the film Can You Hear My Voice? Directed by award-winning filmmaker Bill Brummel, a head and neck cancer survivor, this film details a historic performance by the Shout at Cancer choir in the UK, a group comprised of members who all have had their voice boxes removed. The screening will be followed by a live panel discussion on life after head and neck cancer treatment with head and neck oncology specialists, speech-language pathologists and laryngectomy patient ambassadors.

Expanding Access for Floridians to World-Class Mental Health Services

We've officially broke ground on the new TGH Behavioral Health Hospital in the heart of Tampa's Medical & Research District! This new facility is the result of a powerful partnership between Tampa General Hospital, Lifepoint Health and USF Health. Upon completion, the new facility will meet the state's growing demands for mental health services while serving as an integral part of the Tampa Medical & Research District.

Joining the Fight During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

We're so honored to be awarded two grants from Hyundai Hope On Wheels, a total of $200,000, to support our pediatric oncology program in the fight against childhood cancer! During our celebration, young cancer warriors who have received treatment at the TGH Children's Hospital made colorful handprints on the Hyundai Hope On Wheels hero vehicle to commemorate their brave battles with cancer. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Hyundai Hope On Wheels for helping us continue to create more young cancer survivors every single day. And a special thanks to the Tampa Bay Lightning players who joined us for the fun!

Are Your Little Ones Ready for a Roaring Good Time?

We're excited to announce ZooTampa Kids Fun Run, proudly presented by the TGH Children's Hospital! Happening on Saturday, September 23rd at ZooTampa at Lowry Park, it's a wild blend of animal excitement and running fun that your kids won't want to miss. In addition to the fun run, each participant receives a ticket to ZooTampa, a snazzy race tee, a shiny medal, and more!

The races include a 2K Kids Fun Run, a 1K Kids Fun Run, and a Diaper Dash/Toddler Trot.
