Freedom 250 Is Facing the Music

“I won't let you down,” George Michael famously sang in his hit single “Freedom 90,” continuing “I will not give you up.” Add 160 to that song title, however, and you’ll see a lot of folks whose steadfastness has wavered in the face of political division. I’m of course talking about the Freedom 250 concert, which—as Erin Vanderhoof reports—has lost almost all of its expected participants over its affiliation with the Donald Trump administration.
The list of those who remain on the Freedom 250 lineup is confusing (whose idea was it to invite the surviving face of disgraced 90s band Milli Vanilli to the party?), but even more confounding is the lawsuit acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche can’t seem to shake, a malpractice and forgery claim from his days in private practice.
