What’s New in the Hamptons This Summer
Saturday, June 6, 2026
We at Vanity Fair are preparing for two very different weddings this weekend: Royal cousin Peter Phillips is tying the knot with NHS nurse Harriet Sperling, while London-born singer Dua Lipa and British actor Callum Turner are following this week’s civil ceremony with a multi-day celebration in Sicily. All that put us in a nuptial mood, and after paging through our special edition on the great British weddings, we suspect you’ll quickly join us in that mindset.
Lipa and Turner aren’t the only Britons expected to take high-profile flight this summer. We hear that Kate Middleton could be headed to the US in the coming months, a plan possibly signaled by some unexpected fashion choices. And joining the princess in a routine shakeup are denizens of the East End, as our freshly minted Hamptons guide reveals, with that set headed to a slew of new drinking, dining, and shopping destinations.
Also on the roster this weekend are a fresh look at Martha Moxley’s diary entries, Noah Wyle’s revealing conversation with VF’s Rebecca Ford, and all the best movies to watch on Netflix this month. In other words, a little summer weekend fun for everyone.
